Reciblipe

Tonight I attended a "Tapas and Sangria Evening" which was organised by the WI. The lady doing the demonstration is also a WI member, but does cookery demonstrations as part of her job.

It was an excellent evening, and she showed us 7 recipes, and then we got to eat them - whilst drinking our sangria of course.

Here's one recipe ( or "reciblipe") which I'll share with you as it's very short and easy, and I know you don't like complicated cookery.

Spanish Horses
50g piece of chorizo cut into 24 tiny matchsticks
24 large dates, stoned
12 slices smoky streaky bacon, cut into halves
Stuff each date with chorizo, wrap in bacon, grill until crispy.

Delicious. If you don't want to buy a big piece of chorizo you can get small packs of pancetta which would be a good substitute.

I've got a million other things I could blip tonight but I thought you might like to try this. I'm also good at fibbing - or "blibbing" in this case.
