cowslips and cows

I was at Tarn Hows before all the tourists got there this morning. A very pleasant walk but fell views were hazy. As usual an assortment of photos (including picture postcard views) but thought this cowslip photo was lovely and bright.

On the way down the road was blocked by Belted Galloway cattle. I wasn't prepared to get out and start chasing them so just sat in the car until I could safely (I hoped) squeeze through.
