" EASY LIKE A SUNDAY MORNING "

We always have a cooked breakfast as a treat on a Sunday morning. And today's was even more special!! The eggs came from 'Daphne', our special person in Kingswood and we were completely blown away!! I got excited when I cracked the first egg, then a second, but a third - wow. How cool and unusual was that?!

So today we took Matthew for his usual trip to watch trains at Creech St Michael. And from then on to Monkton Elm garden centre where he enjoys a cake and a drink. It was so lovely, we all sat together outside.

Matthew was very happy and relaxed and reminded me of when he was next coming home!

After we took him back, we came home to carry out a number of tasks in the garden. I weeded in the back and then we replaced the old window box coir filling with new and replanted some new bedding plants. The lovely unusual Cerine plant had become so vigorous, it had taken over, so sadly we have had to curtail it's growth.

After that we felt exhausted, yesterdays mamoth walk taking it's toll!!

The weather today has been perfect but apparently rain is on it's way. I hope you have all enjoyed a wonderful Sunday. They are special days, and should always remain so!
