21k on trails - Yes we can

Okay, I have been running for quite a while. But today killed it. I signed up for a full marathon in four weeks, and I decided I needed some long distance training. So I went rogue and did a 21k trail run on the Kybfelsen today. 600m in altitude. Fairly doable. What's the big deal?

Well, the big deal are the 600m in altitude. Also the surprisingly real possibility of getting lost. Going on super steep trails is harder than it looks on a map, and I ended up running for almost three hours.

Now I feel pretty dead. That's probably good, since going for a full marathon in a month might be similarly exhausting. It was still an amazing run, especially because I witnessed a marvellous sunset, cows and deer on the way.
