Blast..
..First full day without G. And the place seems empty without her.. Back Wednesday..
A normal Sunday, sorted the animals out, cooked breakfast, listened to the Archers, and then pottering in the shed. Sorting out my filing cabinets. Found I'd had rats under two of them, but a while ago..
Drove to Rhiconnich to meet J, and get my crates back. Ready for the hen collection tomorrow. Spare time without G, my days are fully planned and busy.
Back in the 60's and 70's, nearly all the roads on the W coast of Scotland were single track with passing places. Then they were widened. This involved re-routing some of the roads, and shifting a lot of rock. This is the N edge of Laxford loch, and where the rock was drilled for dynamite. These holes are quite impressive, a couple of inches in diameter, and long, very l-o-n-g. This was taken at the base, looking up.. Some of the stone on the house has marks like this too..
Music..
20 mm of rain yesterday, and grey and damp for most of the day..
