New girls in the house..

Got some new girls today. They're Black Rocks and I think they're rather nice. Tha cearcan sgeirean dubh. It'll be a little while before we get any eggs. They seem to be settling in OK, but see what happens when the "big girls" come in..

Had to go to Bonar Bridge to get them, so did some shopping in Tain too. Was going to get some bags of sand and cement from Keyline, and as we drove past at quarter to twelve on our way to Tesco, thought we'll pop in on the way back. At quarter past when we drove by, they'd closed. Forgot builders merchants did that on Saturdays.. Oh well, next time..

Cold, windy and dull today.. Come on may, brighten up a bit, I want to start casting clouts!..
