Gaban

After last night's cold temperatures, I considered buying a wool poncho, gaban, at this morning's big market.

It was an excellent Saturday Plaza: in addition to the weekly sales of vegetables, breads, meats, tamales, clothing and housewares, the municipio invited a high school from Oaxaca to come play three basketball games (two for boys, one for girls). At noon the local radio aired a live concert of various wind and guitar ensembles.
