Last weekend of fun in the Philippines

So after the week spent watching and helping babies being born 5 of us travelled to the West coast of this island called Antique for the weekend.
The weekend was so much fun and consisted of fish spa's with very big fish, sleeping in wooden huts with a non attached roof ensuring we all got rather intimate with the bugs and insects (i covered myself with a towel for my legs and a blanket for my body and head - a Helen made sleeping bag i called it!) Looked ridiculous but i couldn't stand the thought of creepy crawlies all over me!!
We had to walk 30mins roughly to these huts which were right in the heart of the forest so beautiful! We were treated to hot baths which were huge round basins full of steaming water with a fire underneath it. It was really cool because it was dark and you could hear all the noises from the forest. We climbed to the waterfalls the next day and jumped in them, went on massive zipwires, rode on the back of motorbikes and went fishing with the locals and were caught in a huge thunder storm where the heavens opened and i had a little boogie in the rain and me and Sarah imitated Titanic haha even though it wasn't a ship it was a bamboo raft! It was all amazing :-) Such a fab day!

Sorry this is rather rushed i wanted to write something before me and Sarah go off to a village for the week where there will be no showers never mind wifi! I will do another blog when we get back on Friday about our last week!
