St. Croix Gondolier

No, this is not Venice. It's Minnesota.

The gondolier went to Venice to buy a gondola and learn the trade. He shipped the gondola back to Minnesota and now plies his trade on the St. Croix River as long as the river isn't frozen. I don't think they have to deal with ice in Venice.

The street lamp has its feet in the water because the river is stubbornly refusing to recede to normal level.
