Summer festival
Up and out early today. Lots of jobs to do this morning including a visit to the car bodywork repair shop. To cut a long story short, Mr J bashed the bumper of his 8 week old Audi in the Centre Parcs car park. Whoopsie! Hoping they can fix it and that we don't have to foot the bill.....
After lunch and nap time (for P) we took a walk into the village where they are holding their annual festival. It was much bigger than I expected and the whole village was buzzing with life. Apparently Warwick Davis was there earlier to open the event (as he lives in the village) and to start the parade. We had fun looking at all various stalls and rather scary looking fairground rides and P enjoyed seeing some farm animals and a brief flying display of birds of prey. After an ice cream each we took a slow stroll back home for tea. When playing in the living room A rolled over from his back to his front for the first time! He then did it twice more. Way to go little man!
The weather has been glorious and I'm looking forward to more of the same tomorrow.
