Swan Lake

Had our first frost last night, and it was quite a good one...for us.
Woke to a stunning morning, clear sky and there was mist rising from the lake, just love this time of the year.
Grabbed the camera and went to get the gummies, but realised that last years ones had a hole (note to myself...must get some new ones!) so found the rather large pair of the "other halves".
But it was all worthwhile as I watched the sun rising through the trees and backlighting the mist.
...and there were swans!
Coffee was ready by the time I walked back to the house.
