Sidney Sussex Chapel Court.

The College of the Lady Sidney, Countess of Sussex was established on St Valentine's Day 1596. She had left £5,000 in her will and it was founded 7 years after her death. It was, from it's inception, an avowedly Protestant foundation:- "Some good and Godlie moniment for the mainteynance of good learning"
One of the first students was Oliver Cromwell who never graduated due to his father's illness. His head is now buried somewhere in the ante-chapel after being donated by a museum in the 1960's.
