Fun with Fin

Fin (ley) is beginning to settle in his new home - he certainly knows where the sofa is!

I have never seen a dog eat a bowl of food so fast - he almost literally 'hoovers' it up - 30 seconds if we are lucky. Of course he then eyes up Katie's food - but she stands her ground.

Something we have always done with our dogs is play ball in the garden - throw, chase, bring back - repeat, sometimes ad nauseum.

We got into a routine with Meg and Kate where Meg would chase the first ball and Katie the second one. After Meg was gone it took Katie a while to accept the first ball - so we still had to throw two.

Now Fin has arrived - he has very quickly learned to play this game - but as he chases anything that moves it is best to let him go first and then Katie follows.

His lack of a limb certainly does not hinder his agility - he moves very fast, as can be seen from the motion blur!
