Happy Valley

Since my beautiful girl had a day off today, I took the day off too - time together (even doing mundane stuff) is precious. We wandered up the hill with the dogs, then trundled into town for a bit of a giggle at the furniture auction and a wander through Kirkwall. We stopped off at Tesco and bumped into Poppy. Nice to put a face to a name :)
After lunch we met up with Emmy for a wander at the Ring of Brodgar and around the Loch of Stenness, then on to Happy Valley, which is a beautiful little oasis of flowers and trees and winding paths. It is lovely there, and it is unsurprising that it is the wifeycle's favourite place :)
