Big sky

This morning was another beautiful one in Orkney and the dogs enjoyed their scamper up the hill as usual. I trundled off to work leaving my beautiful girl dealing with paperwork.
Work for me finished reasonably early today and I took a wander up the hill again with the dogs and onwards to a place I have never been before. The skies clouded over as we wandered and I snapped this as I headed back to the van to avoid the coming rain.

Its a momentous day today. A year ago, I woke feeling sick with nerves. It was the day I met my soul mate for the first time. We had talked for a long time, but never physically met. Stupid worries filled my mind til she stepped off the plane and everything became perfect. It has been an amazing year and life with my girl gets better every day. I love her.
