Spachteling

Or "plastering" as my British friends phrase it.

In any event, it's what we did after our day jobs. Or rather, after furniture shopping... That is, I left the office at 5:45, met the family at a furniture store to buy new dressers and closets, went to dinner, then took the kids home. Once they were settled, hubs and I walked down to the construction zone at 9pm to spend a couple hours working on operation renovation. I came home coated in a thick layer of spachtel dust - sanding the walls was my task.

Shower & bed by midnight. Tick. Tock.
