Our daugher the dancer

To be honest, after yesterday's assignment I wasn't keen on blasting off any more pictures than is absolutely necessary. Which was OK as the family spent most of the day at my wife's theatre rehearsals. For this show our daughter has a small part where she shows off some of her moves from her Chinese dance class. She did that in front of the cast today and they seemed very impressed. Even more remarkably, my wife and I had to pick our jaws from the floor as well. I think the reason is that when she's dancing with the older dancers we tend to compare her against them and pick out faults. When she's allowed to dance by herself she can just express herself, string together her favourite moves and just showed us what she could really do.

My wife and I were beaming with pride for the rest of the day :)
