Waiting for new friends..

My first blip meet! I got the train and then the tube to Covent Garden. I wasn't sure of directions so tried google maps but it kept showing me going the wrong way. In the end I just enlarged the map and chose my own way there! I was early but gasping for a drink so took the table and waited for the others. Lazooligirl was first and followed 10 mins later by Jeanettie6 and LastLight. They were all pretty much how I thought they'd be and lovely ladies. We had a lovely meal and got to know one another. I love the way Blip introduces you to people. What a great way to make friends. I hope we can meet up again.

I'm on the 21.54 train back to Northampton. It's packed but will probably thin out after Watford Junction.

It's been a long, but so enjoyable day - starting with a dog walk to the river (blipped loads of times), then the first swim of the year (not going to blip that horror!!) then the blip meet. We were going to get the waiter to photograph us but time kind of flew!!
I hope we can get together again soon. It's all a bit quick when you first meet.
When are they going to invent time travel so I can leave whenever I like and get home at the click of my fingers??!! :-)
