The High Line

Using an old rail track as a walkway/park is a brilliant idea and takes you into the Meat Packers district where we found a sunny roof terrace for a beer and snack.
We then got a sight-seeing ferry around the Hudson River to see the statue of Liberty before changing then going up the Empire State Building.
This wasn't as well organised as The Rockefeller Building. We felt like herded cattle and could hardly get to a viewing point because there were so many people! On the posters, the night view of Manhattan looks amazing but the lights just looked white in our pics. Shame.
We totalled 31,365 steps on my pedometer today! My feet are slightly achey..!!
