I left on the afternoon flight to Inverness do run a staff training session tomorrow. As O left Lewis I was struck again how narrow and tenuous the isthmus connecting Point to the 'mainland' of Lewis is. No wonder that it is sometimes closed at tide-surges and severe storms. It wouldn't take much to sever this narrow land-bridge and make Point another offshore island. I love the configurations of land from the air....
