Water birds
Tonight I went down to Loch Stiapavat, to the new hide. I heard that a Corncrake had been spotted really close to the hide, and I thought I would try to get a photo. Of course, there was not sight of it! There were a lot of other birds around, however, Lapwing, Dunlin, Redshank, a Sedge Warbler... I liked this image of the Mute Swan. It's only when you see the duck beside it that you become aware of how big these birds are. Lots to see, must make a habit out of dropping by...
