Huddle

An evening orienteering event brought us to Rowntree Park on the banks of the river Ouse in York. This is an area I know well as I went to Secondary school nearby and at one time it had an open air swimming pool. I well remember shivering on pool side as we had house swimming competitions. As a student I assembled chocolate oranges at the nearby Terry's Chocolate factory during summer vacations. So it felt like coming home this evening.

After the event I returned to the lake in the park and spotted these ducklings settling down for a nap.
