Dale and Moor

Tried out a new walk past Nunnington Hall and can thoroughly recommend it as an afternoon stroll. Although there was a lot of cloud scudding about it was surprisingly warm. We had packed waterproofs and fleeces but ended up in shirt sleeves.

This view is from the start of the walk across Ryedale towards the North York Moors. We had an interesting time attempting to cross a field with some rather lively bullocks! Needless to say we avoided them by circuiting the field along the river bank.
At least we survived to tell the tale....
