Girona flower festival

Today has been spent at the annual Girona flower festival. There were about 150 displays around the old city and it was very pleasant slowly walking through the old streets and in and out of the fine churches and cloisters to admire the imaginative and spectacular use of the blooms. We found a small tapas bar for lunch and the food on the counter could have made a blip in itself. In the end I chose paper not flowers as I really liked the imaginative use of the available light in this small courtyard.
