View From the A9

A beautiful , warm and sunny day today. We were over in the fair City of Perth . On the way back down the A9 we were rewarded by this lovely view of the patchwork of fields , golden and green in the laate afternoon sun with the added touch of the river meandering through the trees in the foreground.

A photo taken on the move as we were travelling down the road ( John driving , off course ) . Quite funny really when I usually go to all the bother of using a tripod and graduated filters on the camera when taking landscapes, yet I am quite happy to try for a shot from a moving car. when there is no chance of stopping on the road.
