This is what Navigli looks like at around 6:30am as the sun rises, even as tired as I was I couldn't help but appreciate the beauty of it!
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Saturday was a fairly unproductive day. In the evening we had been invited out to aperitivo with some Italian girls at a club just a bit south of Navigli. I say just a bit, but it was a long long walk, and of course both myself and Katie had chosen that evening to wear heels. Not a good idea. After a lot of cursing and consulting google maps we eventually made it. The venue was nice and the aperitivo was quite good but I think both of still questioned whether it was worth the trek... Having sworn that we would not make the same mistake again and try to walk home, we got a taxi to colonne (again) to meet some more friends. Again it was packed and they seemed to have put on the silent disco again, although this was made slightly redundant due to the stage with speakers they had also erected so we could all hear the music which did make for a great atmosphere.
