The Midland, Morecambe

It took a while to pin down, but the midland was our chosen destination for our break away and very pleasant it was too. The history of the place fascinates me the most, and the refurbishment compliments the history wonderfully. We had a posh 3 course meal for dinner, with a bottle of red and some really really smelly cheese for afters. I've been looking forward to this break away all week so was a little disappointed that the place lacked a little 'life' as the night progressed. It was just me and her drinking rum and not a lot going on elsewhere.....
