Folk Festival

Today was full of odd sights and sounds... The Holmfirth Folk Festival. Morris Dancing isn't for me, and some Pagan traditional have a lot of similarities to the Wickerman! But it was interesting to see. I also got my haircut (finally) and E&M took great joy in spending my time in there shopping in the town. Once back, with my tonnes of shopping, we re-gathered and all took a wander into town to soak up some of the festival vibes. More money was spent on kids toys, then beer and then an hour or so in the park. The regular pizza takeaway tea was enjoyed and then the evening was spent cooking and cooking and cooking. Then a power cut for the whole town. Mid way through my pulled pork too. How inconsiderate.
