Sleepy head!!

This was the project that I finished last night. The tapestry was completed a while back and after stretching, it got put to one side. I blipped it before when it was on the frame, but cannot find them!! In the process of blipping she was named Phoebe.

I hand sewed the cushion for ease of achieving quality, but not for speed, it took me most of the weekend. I bought the cushion pad ages back and bought the wrong size. I had taken the correct measurements, but the pad looked far too small….so I bought the next size up. Wrong!!

So yesterday I had the messy job of reducing the duck down pad size. I did it in the garage to minimise the mess and now have a spare bag of feathers for future use.

The great tit babies are progressing well. All 6 have survived to 12/11 days and they are getting quite scruffy looking as the feathers develop.
