COLLECTIVE NOUNS IN THE GARDEN
No.2 A Bounty of Bluebells
As the part of the garden that isn't the fruit and veg plot gets wilder, the bluebells spread. Their scent along with the peppery fragrance of the Narcissi 'Pheasant's Eye' intoxicates. Today I had a longish walk in the sunlit Renfrewshire country side. Lots of talk, clattering horses, bleating lambs, and drifting wildflowers - but no camera. I wasn't up to much gardening afterwards, just a gentle potter and some contemplative walking, barefoot in the cool grass among the long shadows.
