A Safe Place to Live

Sunday marked the start of Christian Aid Week 2014. It was also the date of our latest Messy Church at Cumbernauld Old. We had made a decision several months ago that we would tie the theme for this month's Messy Church to that used by this year's Christian Aid Week: "A Safe Place to Live".

Activities around the story of The Three Little Piggies, crafts involving different types of houses and dwelling-places and so on made for a fun afternoon. We touched on the fact that some people are made homeless due to conflict, floods, etc. and so these paper plates show a happy face on one side and a sad face on the other.

A tiring but fun and rewarding afternoon
