Yellow

When travelling in and out of Falkirk over the past few days, it's been hard to avoid the swathes of yellow oilseed rape on either side of the road from Bonnybridge. I had also wondered on my travels whether I could capture the Falkirk Wheel with the yellow plants in the foreground and set myself that task when time allowed.

Returning from the Falkirk Stadium on Saturday afternoon - following an excellent extra-time win by the Bairns over a gallant and unlucky Queen of the South by the way - I parked at the 'Three Bridges' car park and set out on my quest. Can't say I was too disappointed with the photo results either. Some blue sky would have been good, but otherwise this is just about what I had in mind.
