Orange

I didn't set off to continue the colour theme today - it just happened. Neither did I set off to get soaking wet. That just happened too. After a few jobs this morning, I set off to have a couple of hours on my patch. Birds seen include Yellowhammer, Linnet, Goldfinch and Swift. A short sharp shower sent me into a small shelter on the golf course and when I emerged after about 10 minutes, I spotted this Orange Tip butterfly warming up on a nearby bank. Not actually showing the orange on this shot, I have to admit, but if you want the proof, here it is..
About an hour later, the heavens opened again, and didn't close again until after I got home!
