Soooo much to say!!

Hello lovely people i am alive don't worry just wanted to wait till i had lots to tell you! Hope England is ok and not raining too much.
Last week i was on the obstetrics and gynaecology ward basically the ward where all the mummys and babies are which is soooooo cute! There were 118 mothers and 118 babies last week so it was just a tad busy! Got to do quite a lot with the nurses and ate coconut pies which were actually really yummy! So hot though on the ward so occasionally i just stood under the fan trying not to look too distressed.
Got to skype the mother a few times as well this week which was lovely! Bit like projectile vomiting of words though because i had so much to tell her. On Thursday us girlies went and got a massage as a end of week treat i nearly fell asleep which was funny. The best thing ever however was i found some fillipino CHOCOLATE RAISINS yes you heard right chocolate raisins!! Because of the heat though it had melted and formed into one huge chocolate raisin ball but still very tasty - life is now complete!
It was BBQ night with kareoke which was hilarious. Beyonce now has competition that's all im going to say haha. We then went out for a boogy which was fun and me and my friend Lakmini were rather naughty and danced on the stage next to the DJ with some fillipino girlies. You only live once as they say!
On the Friday we set off quite early to Mambukal. Got taxis, a boat, Jeepne and a bus to get there. Very funny on the boat when there was a a Japanese film showing and just when we were finding out whether the main character had survived the plane wreckage or not it cut off!! There was uproar haha! So funny. We got a really big, battered what looked like 4x4 jeepne to the bus station and then took the bus to our destination. Got to the resort and had lunch and settled into our family cottage cabin thing. It was really pretty with a butterfly sanctuary and a huge lake, there were loads of trees and it was quite cool so no constant sweating! We had a dip in the hot springs which was like being in a very big bath with other people. We then went for dinner i had pork sisci which was basically porks face apparently... quite interesting to be honest. There was a bug incident at the table. I was sitting there in Helen land as usual haha when this huge flying creature came at me and landed on my chest. Everyone was shouting at me to not move and apparently my face was a picture- looking shell shocked! My friend managed to whack it off me eurgh it was a terrifying experience!!
The next day we went for a trek to the 7 waterfalls all were very pretty. We did a high canopy walk which at the beginning it said there was going to be a safety talk and safety equipment did that happen?... well its the Philippines so no but it was safe apparently when the tour guide jumped on the ladders and they didn't break... don't tell the mother!
At the 6th waterfall i think, we sat in the water and chilled off watching the fillipino people jumping into the waterfall and even diving it was quite scary really! I managed to get an amazing photo of a man mid dive :-) At the 7th waterfall we all swam underneath it and even stood under it which was one of the most beautiful things I've ever done! A cheeky imitation of Peter Aundre was done i have to say haha. The whole trek was amazing!
After the trek we slowly travelled back to Illoilo where it started to pour with rain and at the bus station the whole town tried to hail us taxis to the port it was very funny!
Unfortunately we never got to see the end of the Japanese film but there was a very weird clash of the titans one to keep us occupied!
When we got back to the house we decided a girly film night with pizza and brownies was the plan which turned out to be fabby however we all had food triplets after because the pizza was so humungous!!
This week im in delivery which to be honest has been very emotional and hard to watch because of the difference.in care and the way practice is done over here however its been amazing so far! I shall let you all know soon about how it has been.
Not long to go now which is crazy! Missing you all.
