The Rob Roy Glacier

A beautiful three-hour return walk takes you there, alongside this milky torrent. The colour is from fine silt release by the glacier's patient grinding and with the ice itself not far away, the water's gelid.

Not cold, not freezing (which is silly because if it was freezing, it wouldn't be flowing), but GELID.
