Ghibli Monday

It was a bit cruel that yesterday's blip featured only the badge of the luscious looking Maserati that I'm currently driving. So I thought it only fair to pull back for a wider view and an eye-feast of the Ghibli today.

It's quite a looker, and I love little details like that neat trios of sculpted air vents just aft of the front wheels.

The lilac tree behind the car has bloomed better than ever this year, which may be something to do with being rather liberally watered during the opening months of 2014. We despaired of it ever recovering after the 1987 hurricane - sorry, Great Storm - which felled the lilac along with 15 million mostly much bigger trees across Southern England. Of course, Mother Nature has long since repaired the damage.
