Steeve's Diner

Day 8, Riverview New Brunswick: I had a hard time choosing a photo today as it was my birthday and I had taken quite a few photos. I knew at some point I wanted to take a photo of Steeve's Diner as it's a bit of an institution in Riverview, serving up amazingly greasy dinery great food for years, long before I moved here as a teenager. My mom and dad and I were coming back from a birthday dinner with my brother and I took the opportunity to take this snap. I thought the dusk light lent itself well to emphasising the neon lighting (I don't think it would have worked as well at night) and I like the blurred car in the foreground. My day was wrapped up with drinks later on with a few good friends whom I haven't seen on my birthday in years...a great day.
