Otter Ferry
Drove round to Kilfinan today to visit the pretty little church located there.
This is the ancient resting place of the chiefs of the clan Lamont and is also the resting place of many of my Cameron ancestors.
We then headed on to Otter Ferry, the otter doesn't refer to the furry mammal , but is thought to refer to the Gaelic word oitir which means sandbank or spit of land :-)
Enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Oystercatcher Pub/ restaurant which has lovely views over Loch Fyne.
We then headed back to Kames :-)
