the tree, again

I'm lucky it has survived until today, I needed an emergency blip as I have been writing essays, yes that's essays plural! DS came round to ask for help with his 2, and I have one of my own to write.
DD is going to her dad's next week, for the duration of the exams, then she is travelling for 5 weeks, with a visit to Sheffield for her results, then if all goes well, she'll be off to uni.
I resent the time she spends there, it feels as if he is still taking precious things from me.
