A glass of water
My friend Helle and I are in France to judge and teach dog dancing.
Today was the last training day. 30 handlers and dogs - all very open-minded and excited about the exercises we put them through.
One of the exercises we did was to ask the handlers to work with their dogs whilst carrying a glass of water in one hand. This helped the handlers to realise that they do not need a lot of body- and hand cues - their dogs can work really well just on verbal cues. But as you can see in this handler's face - they needed to concentrate!
After the training, we helped a friend with the choreography that she will use at the World Championship in August. Lots of new things to work on for her and her dog.
We had dinner with the participants, who had not already left to travel home - oh we had fun with the Belgian gang.
All in all a great day.
Tomorrow Helle and I will be travelling home - I can't wait to see the Hazyland boys again :-)
See you tomorrow.
