A Windy Weekend

The tree-tops (indeed, all the branches of the trees) have been swaying back and forwards, as they bow to the power of the wind. The effect reinforced of course because they are in full leaf. How well will deciduous trees survive in future as weather becomes more violent and extreme throughout the summer as well as the winter?
