Buttercup Bug

It was having a rare old feast.

Bugs like yellow. I know this. In the 80s I had a bright yellow dirndl skirt. It was the 80s. I wore it with an oversized white lace blouse and black patent pumps with matching yellow grosgrain bows. It was the 80s. I became an insect magnet.

Thirty years on you'd think I'd have learned a thing or two about life. I no longer wear below the knee dirndl skirts. Or black patent pumps with or without accessorised grosgrain bows. But I have bought a really rather fabulous bright yellow coat.
