Sun & showers. Spent most of the day outdoors continuing to try and get the vegetable patch chicken proof. Taking much longer than expected but perhaps due to having to take enforced pauses with this weather.

As the weather not due to get much better for several days am not too concerned about getting seed in the ground. The rain will hopefully wash yesterday's slurry in to the ground quickly.

Am getting closer to being up to date with posting my Blip photos but not with answering comments! Now with a modern smartphone, have the Blip App which at least shows me all new comments and so in the pauses I can quickly read them. Thanks to all for continuing to look by.

The most annoying thing about not posting the same day is how quickly I forget what I did on the day. Last Sunday was my granddaughter Charlotte's birthday - while I did manage to remember it and send greetings and later tried calling but was as has been the case for weeks now didn't come in until it was dark and my phone call was too late. I should have at least dedicated that day's Blip to her. Also forgot to record for my own uses, that on that day, that at least 5 large kidney stones appeared. I think several smaller ones have been popping out over the last week. Luckily not in pain but I suspect the kidneys are suffering and perhaps causing a lack of energy and explains why I am sleeping so badly.
