Granddaughter Desiree

Our granddaughter, Desiree, wrote these words to go with her photos for Mother's weekend. Tristan is Desiree's 7-year-old son. Justin is the love of her life and has just returned from a long tour of duty in the U. S. Navy.

"Not sure what I did to deserve such amazing, not to mention good looking, guys in my life. I didn't expect anything for Mother's Day and Tristan had my bouquet painting and then Justin walked in with these beautiful flowers. To top it off we are on our way to watch the new Spiderman at the drive-in. Feeling pretty spoiled, thankful & blessed right now."

My daughter took me out for a wonderful mid-afternoon meal today in Claremont to celebrate Mother's Day. We had a good time together.
