"Isla!"

Eve came to stay for a couple of hours this afternoon and we all had a great time.
We have a small spaniel statue which usually sits on the patio steps and Eve spotted it, padded up to it and said "Isla" which may actually have been her first word!
She does have a small vocabulary but this is growing steadily and I am sure she will be happily chattering away before too long. Words not yet within her remit are "yes", "no" or "please" but she has ways of letting you know just exactly what she wants - or doesn't.
