Windswept leaper

Went to a very windy Brands Hatch today. Lots of Minis were dashing around the track, practising for a race meeting this weekend. They were a happy distraction, but not the reason for the visit.

Dodged intermittent rain showers and battled with the sun diving in an out of the clouds. We were there for a car magazine twin test photoshoot. You can guess from this what one of the cars was. This is what Jaguar calls a 'leaper' badge, adorning on the bootlid. The other familiar big cat symbol is a 'growler', the snarling face seen head-on and usually on the front of the car.

Going up against this one in our head-to-head appraisal was a Maserati. I may blip that another day. Vroom vroom.
