Edinburgh College…former nautical college site

This is the Milton Road campus of Edinburgh College, where this morning I had a meeting with Penny, secretary to the board.

I have over the years been on this site many times. Way back in time this was a nautical college based largely in the building on the left. It then grew and became Jewel and Esk College, and just under 2 years ago merged with Telford and Stevenson Colleges to form the new Edinburgh College.

The newest building is the one on the right of the picture. Besides the usual college facilities, you can find in this building a fitness suite, costa coffee and so forth…meeting the needs of the modern student.
