Tinside Pool

This is immediately below Smeaton's Tower on Plymouth Hoe - looking out across Plymouth Sound.

An Art Deco Lido built in 1935. Closed in 1992 and reopened at a cost of £3.4m in 2005. It did suffer some storm damage earlier in the year and whilst there is still some scaffolding up around the buildings painters were at work this morning. It looks like it will be ready to re-open for the summer season in June. I will blip it again then when it is full of water.
