A really dull day and rain for most of it. There are lots more foals on the moor now (and more to come). I just couldn't resist this one.

You may remember I mentioned the journey of a cuckoo on 27th April. The cuckoo (Whortle) arrived back on Dartmoor on 2nd May about half a mile away from where he was tagged on 14th May last year! In the meantime he has been to Central Africa and back - what an amazing journey!!! More here
