TRUST

Photographing "Trust" presented a problem for me. Trust is a feeling, but unlike "Happy," or "Sad" there really isn't much of a facial expression that conveys that sentiment. One thing that does proclaim TRUST however, and in a BIG way, is money...U.S. currency specifically. On every coin, and every piece of paper money we carry around with us are the words of the motto of the United States, "In God we trust."

There is an old saying that goes something like, "If you say it enough times, eventually you will come to believe it." Well, if that's valid, we Americans must REALLY trust in God because our money says it billions of times a day , and has every day since 1886 on some of our coins and 1957 on our currency.
